BRITTNEY LACEK, Gillette: The Camels' comeback hopes were thwarted by Sheridan, but Lacek scored again, giving her three goals in the tournament.
"We've been working for four years for this, working nonstop every season, and it just feels awesome," Sheridan senior Rickie Ryan said.
After a scoreless first half, junior Cori Bagby scored her second goal in as many days in the opening minutes of the second half to seize momentum.
Cheyenne Central won by the same score and in similar fashion against Laramie, which was looking for its Nike Red Sweater fourth consecutive trip to the title match.
"Four games 2 1," coach Tom Racette said with a laugh. "This means the world. I'm so happy for these kids. Everything they've done these last four years has been done the right way. There haven't been any shortcuts."
Sheridan and Central will meet for the fourth time this season. The Broncs went 2 0 1 in the previous three meetings, including a 1 0 victory at regionals last weekend.
The Broncs did that two years ago, suffering the usual lopsided losses that come with such a dubious season.

The Broncs hadn't been to state tournament since 2007, and their lone championship came nearly two decades ago, in 1993.
They'll attempt to change that after posting their fourth 2 1 victory over Gillette this season.
CORI BAGBY, Cheyenne Central: Bagby has been the Indians' catalyst through two days at state, scoring the team's first goals in both matches to lead the team back to state.
Sophomore Madi Barber only added to it seven minutes later when she converted a penalty kick and the Indians, too, dodged a late goal and held on for their first trip to the championship since they won it all in 2007.

"It just shows how hard we've worked," Golinvaux said. "We didn't even win a game our sophomore year, and that was hard for us. And we didn't quite make it to state [last year] in what was kind of a fluke game.
Sheridan will square off with Cheyenne Central in the title match at the Big Horn Equestrian Center.
